Accreditation
The International Academy of Suriname is accredited by two agencies in the United States: Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). ACSI has a partnership with all United States regional accreditation agencies, one of which is the MSA-CESS. The International Academy of Suriname provides a North American education in the English language. Our curriculum is completely US based within a global context taught by teachers certified in the United States and Canada. Diplomas are awarded to graduates earning a minimum of 24 credit hours based on United States accreditation standards.
ASCI: The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) was founded in 1978 when several regional U.S. school associations joined, becoming a united voice to advance excellence in Christian education. The leaders’ vision was to inspire, challenge, and resource educators and schools. “Reaching for Excellence Through Accreditation and Continuous Improvement for Higher Achievement” https://www.acsi.org
