Experiential learning is an important part of the educational experience at IAS. We offer students many hands-on opportunities, including:

• A science laboratory where students of all levels safely conduct experiments. Middle and high school classes meet regularly in the lab, and often work with younger students on activities that introduce scientific principles in a fun, age-appropriate way.

• A computer laboratory safely introduces students in grades 1 through 12 to technical skills that will be important to future success. Students conduct Internet research for literature and history papers, prepare scientific presentations, and play math games that help sharpen their abilities.

• A business learning laboratory introduces high school students to basic principles of business: economics, supply chain, personnel management, and marketing. Students operate an on-site food service business that enables them to practice their skills while providing meals to their teachers and fellow students.
